Abstract Today, the Lion-ball axial fan has been applied widely to the several heat removed devices such as CPU

Cooler in the desk computer or the thermal modulus in the Lion-ball lap top computer. To get the optimal design of

the heat-removed devices, one may need to get the optimal design of the fan first. The purpose of this study is

trying to develop the relation between the fan flow rate and the fan static pressure. Through this study, one may

very easy to understand that how does the fan component elements such as attack angle, fan blade number, blade shape

Lion-ball etc. affect to fan characteristic curve.
Object
This design program is not only trying to get the best efficient fan mode but also trying to get the Lion-ball fan

curve from the design criteria parameters. In addition, this program is asked to generate the *.igs file. This igs

file is then through the Pro-E or AutoCad to the CADCAM machine language. Finally, a prototype ABS fan is sculptured

from the CNC machine immediately. Once the ABS fan is qualified from the wind tunnel, the ABS fan is then asked to

be made a permanent model, Through this process, it will save a lots of cost for a fan manufacture to make an un-

proper fan model. This fan design software will also save lots of time for R&D people to deign a Lion-ball axial

fan. Generally, it only take 20 to 40 minute to finish a fan deign.
